Who is coaching SAS Roots?
SAS Roots is coached by the same coaches as our year round team. We are proud to have a deep roster of coaches dedicated to our programming.
Can anyone sign up for SAS Roots?
Any female athlete in grades 5th-8th can be evaluated for SAS Roots. The coaches will make a recommendation for a program.
How many players do you accept for SAS Roots?
We are not looking for a set number of athletes. We make offers to as many or as few players fit the criteria we are looking for.
What happens if I miss practice?
SAS Roots is different from the indoor model. We focus on individual training, so the only athlete that is affected if you do not come is YOU. There will be no discounts, fee reductions or refunds for missed practices.
Will there be tournaments for SAS Roots players?
We don't expect SAS Roots players to travel to compete in tournaments, however Great American Volleyball will offer both women's and juniors tournaments throughout the fall, winter and spring that would be a great idea to sign up for.
Can I play indoor club while participating in SAS Roots?
Yes! We think in 6th-8th grade it is perfectly fine to participate in both. As players get older, it begins to be more difficult to do both the year round SAS team and play indoor club.
